The Bellagio Poker Room was once the epicenter of poker during its boom years. When it was remodeled in 2005, it featured Bobby’s Room, which was home to the world’s biggest nosebleed game. Many famous poker players, including Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, and Jen Harman, regularly visited the room. Others included Johnny Chan, Lyle Berman, and Gus Hansen.
The room is very crowded, even with the nice-sized tables. The tables are so packed together that it can be hard to stretch your legs or breathe. The room also has a small lounge area and bar, and chips are distributed by chip runners. Chip runners are not easy to flag down, so it is customary to tip them for their service.
The Bellagio’s poker room boasts 37 tables and is one of the largest in Las Vegas. It also includes Bobby’s Room, named after the world-renowned poker player Bobby Baldwin. There are two tables in the Bobby’s Room dedicated to high-limit action. Most patrons don’t have to go upstairs to see these tables, but there’s an employee stationed at the door to discourage railbirds. The Bellagio also has a separate middle limit area, located away from the main poker floor. This area is elevated and is more spacious than the standard poker room. It also has its own podium for player check-in.
The Bellagio offers many different poker games, including a no limit Texas hold’em game. They also have fixed-limit Omaha, pot limit Omaha, and Omaha hi/lo. There are also mixed games. The tables are large and can accommodate up to nine people at a time. There are no tournaments held at the Bellagio, but it does offer free comps to MGM Rewards members.
The Bellagio Poker Room is one of the largest and most luxurious poker rooms in Las Vegas. It has a rich history and boasts a large selection of games and high stakes. Whether you’re a poker newbie or a veteran, you’re sure to find the perfect game at the Bellagio.
